The administration of the NOPL come from a long line of paintball knowledge and history. Some of us have more than 15 years of paintball experience – everything from renter, player, tournament player, manager of 2 fields, owner of 3, promoter, 6 year industry veteran with one of the worlds largest manufacturers.

Some of the staff and the producer of the NOPL even helped create the original SkyBall !

We will be pooling all this experience to give you the player or spectator the best of competition and paintball.

Player Classification:

An Open Class player is one who has more then one year tournament paintball experience or has played 5 tournaments or more. A Rookie player has less then 1-year experience, having never played an event or less then 5 events.

As we do not have a player classification, system players will be judged by a jury of  peers. Discrepancies must be brought to the NOPL by the team captain ONLY.

Team Classification:

NOPL events separate teams into two divisions: Open Class and Rookie Class. A Rookie 5-player team may have one Open player on their roster.

Rosters:
A player may not be on more than one roster per event, and a player cannot change rosters during an event. Reserve players should be left off rosters until they are needed. Players may be added to a team’s roster at any time during an event as long as the added player(s) reports to the NOPL staff at the scoring table before participating in a game. 5-player teams may only have 7 players on a roster.

Rosters and waivers must be filled out (legibly and completely) and handed in to NOPL staff at the scoring table before playing your first game. Failure to turn in or update your roster and waivers will result in zero points for all games played before the roster and waivers are corrected or turned in to NOPL staff.
